Rod Spalding
Rod Spalding created Network Grains in 2003, and has been the sole director up until October 2014. He is highly respected in the agricultural industry, and brings nearly 40 years of experience to his role. He has played numerous roles throughout his career working for Queensland Barley Marketing Board, Riverina Stock Feeds (in both their Oakey and Inverell locations), Elders QGGA Grain, the Australian Wheat Board and Grainco Australia. He has a QBE and a post graduate qualification in management, and has utilised his extensive experience to create an efficient and dexterous approach to his work ethic, which has transpired into Network Grains. |

Craig Dennis
New partner and co-director, Craig Dennis, highly respected in Australian agricultural circles, joined Network Grains in October 2014, bringing with him a wealth of experience and industry leadership. Craig has been employed in the agricultural industry for over 15 years, beginning his career at Grainco in the area of Logistics and following this with ten years with Philp Brodie Grains as Supply Chain and Operations Manager. He has a Bachelor in Agribusiness and a Masters in Business Administration.
Craig is past President of Queensland Agricultural Merchants, an association that represents companies with an annual turnover in excess of $1 billion and employing over 600 staff. In the past, he has been a member of Grain Trade Australia’s Transport Storage and Ports Committee. This national committee is responsible for making recommendations on port terminal and container issues, transport, storage and quality assurance matters.
